The glowing eyes in the bramble bush
The forest sang a song so lush and gay
For the sweet little baby born in the woods today

The animals felt the shine today
Like the warming touch of the sun’s red rays
The doe and the sow and the mama jay
Spread the word through the woods today

In a little log cabin a daddy cried
As he gazed in the faces of the babe and bride
